I have spent my life working toward creating a better future and fighting for equal rights. At times, I may have seemed overly optimistic. But it turns out that we can actually use the laziness of our universe to our advantage.
Created and published an International magazine with the goal of helping those coming out of the closet and provide a safe place with advice and information.
Created a line of clothing and products designed to go beyond the basic rainbow prints for the gay community.
Created a website dedicated to helping crowd source funding for desperately needed surgeries.
Helped Create some of the very first Gay Student Alliances with the help of a well known gay rights activist lawyer Robert Lynn.
Helped in the Creation of a shelter dedicated to helping gay homeless youth while acting as the President of Gay Youth Alliance in San Diego.
Led the protest against Prop. 22 in California, which was eventually overturned with Prop. 8.
Represented the gay community on the news in a live debate in San Diego over the rights for all people to marry.
Distributed the press releases, printed up shirts, and with a bullhorn in hand, led thousands marching and chanting through the streets of San Diego. With police helicopters overhead, we marched from Hillcrest to Downtown, denouncing hate.
